I was having lunch of a chef salad with my mom in the dining room. I recently had a knee replacement and have been having trouble healing. I had to leave halfway through the meal to go back to my mom's room to get in a more comfortable chair. Shortly after, Ahmed came into my mom's room with my salad. He was concerned that I was only able to eat half my meal because of my knee and wanted me to enjoy the rest of it in my mom's room. We chatted a bit about his wife's knee and my knee. He really touched my heart with that gesture...he didn't have to do it but that's the kind of staff Elk River Senior Living has. When I come to visit Mom, Ahmed always has a friendly "hello.” We are very pleased with our mom's progress and feel blessed that we found this facility. Thank you, ERSL!
